The weaving journey
At Universal King Limited, every meter is controlled in Karachi — yarn to carton — for retail and hospitality worldwide.
Yarn & fiber
Premium yarn from trusted spinning units, checked before it hits the loom. Cotton, poly-cotton, bamboo, and lyocell — we are adding our own spinning to tighten the chain further.
Warping
Sectional warping (Huafang, 3400 mm) lines up yarn with precision so weaving stays even — durable fabric, consistent width, fewer faults downstream.
Weaving
More than 400 looms — Haijia, Toyota, Sulzer Ruti — air-jet, water-jet, and shuttleless. Over 40 million meters a year: percale, sateen, jacquard, linen, flannel, and terry.
Dyeing & printing
Bleach, exhaust dyeing (GMT, Scalavos), and printing (SAGA, Reggiani). Reactive, vat, and disperse dyes with wash and light fastness 4–5 — clean, even color at volume.
Finishing
Stenters (Rexin, Monfort, Virock, Shayoang) set width, weight, and hand. Mercerized, sanforized, wrinkle-free — plus wet sueding/peaching for a soft microfiber face.
Stitch, inspect, pack
Skilled stitching, checks at every stage, then print, label, and eco-friendly packing so bed linen, towels, and bedding arrive retail-ready.
Yarn & fiber
Premium yarn from trusted spinning units. Cotton, poly-cotton, bamboo, and lyocell — with our own spinning planned next.
Warping
Sectional warping lines up yarn so weaving stays even and the fabric holds width and strength.
Weaving
400+ looms (Haijia, Toyota, Sulzer). 40 million+ meters a year — percale, sateen, jacquard, terry.
Dyeing & printing
In-house bleach, dyeing, and print. Color fastness 4–5. Vibrant, even shade at industrial volume.
Finishing
Stenters set the cloth. Mercerized, sanforized, wrinkle-free, and peached microfiber where the program needs it.
Stitch, inspect, pack
Stitching, inspections at every stage, then eco-friendly pack, print, and label for export.
